Security
Security is provided 24X7 and includes closed-circuit monitors, alarmed doors with secure card-key access, and options for locking equipment enclosures (cabinets or cages).
Security personnel also monitor the building.
Power
Rack mounted
Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) units provide battery backup in case of a power outage or brown out. UPS systems receive power from commercial power feeders and are designed to support a fully loaded center for 15 minutes via its internal batteries. During an extended commercial power outage, generator service is available. Fuel suppliers are on standby to provide additional service.
Cooling
The DC has Computer Room AC (CRAC) unit to provide air conditioning to meet its cooling requirements.
The CRAC unit is strategically located near the racks to
deliver temperature and humidity conditioned air to maintain a room temperature in the range of 75°F.
DC temperatures are monitored 24/7 via remote alert software.
Risk Assessment
